This OPWDD project addressed the replacement of the concrete sidewalk surrounding the property at 129th Street and 5th Avenue, which was required due to city violations. Additionally, the project involved the replacement of the asphalt pavement in the parking lot, including restriping for parking stalls and ADA-compliant spaces. ZOFS conducted a thorough site analysis, analyzing existing conditions, drainage patterns, and site accessibility requirements. ZOFS provided comprehensive engineering design services for the project, delivering preliminary, 60%, and 100% design packages. The final construction drawings, signed and sealed by ZOFS, detailed the replacement of the NYC sidewalk on this corner property, as well as the milling and paving of the parking lot. The plans also included Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) measures and tree protection requirements, all in accordance with NYCDOT and NYCDPR standard specifications.
