Civil Engineering PM

A subject matter expert in Civil Design with more than 37 years of experience. Mario was formerly the Design Director of the NYC Department of Design and Construction (NYCDDC) and has a proven track record of leading multiple teams of engineers in the design, management, and construction support of dozens of capital projects annually.

He has managed the final sign-off of the design of technically complex projects, including manholes, streetscape improvements, street reconstruction, MS4, storm and sanitary sewer drainage systems, trunk water main, retaining walls, reinforced concrete chambers, piles, and outfalls.

Mario has also overseen the development of highway projects, including SGD development and finalization of roadway alignment and grade, and has developed contractual specification language in collaboration with NYCDEP and DOT for complex capital contracts. He holds a B.S. Civil Engineering from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY, and is a Certified Professional Engineer (PE).
