This major MTA station rehabilitation project consists of comprehensive State of Good Repair (SOGR) improvements at three (3) Jamaica Line (BMT) stations—75th Street, 85th Street, and Cypress Hills—under Construction Contract A-35305. The work includes ADA, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, communications, and fire protection scopes, all performed in accordance with MTA standards and ADA requirements.

The project involves rehabilitation and replacement of critical station elements, including structural steel repairs to track stringers, floor beams, thru-span girder top flanges, and other supporting members within mezzanine and platform areas at all three stations. Additional structural work includes concrete spall and crack repairs, platform edge reconstruction, concrete topping at ADA boarding areas, and rubbing board replacements at the 121st Street and 104th Street Stations.

Architectural and station finish upgrades include tile and substrate repairs, surface cleaning and painting, windscreen replacements, and replacement of street, mezzanine, and platform stairs, including restoration of any impacted sidewalk areas. The scope also includes replacement of electrical components and fixtures throughout the platform, mezzanine, and stair areas, along with new conduit installations, as well as installation of PSLAN at the 75th Street Station.

Ancillary work includes signal and communications upgrades and demolition of the Circuit Breaker House (CBH) between the Woodhaven Boulevard and 104th Street Stations. ZOFS Engineering provided CADD Coordination and Drafting services for this multi-discipline, high-value capital project. Responsibilities included ensuring compliance with MTA CADD standards, converting design documents to MicroStation, coordinating with multiple design subcontractors across all disciplines, and preparing complete As-Built drawings for MTA submission. ZOFS supported the development and coordination of Structural, Architectural, MEP, Communications, and Fire Protection drawings, ensuring accurate integration of field conditions, design revisions, and post-construction conditions across all three stations.
